Restorative Motion founder Naomi Gingold began studying a variety of dance and movement modalities at a young age. As a hypermobile dancer she sustained serious injuries, injuries which were exacerbated by long work hours and prolonged computer use. This and the lack of relief she found with other forms of physical therapy and rehabilitation lead her to the Feldenkrais Method. Her primary instructors studied with founder Moshe Feldenkrais, a physicist and judo master, whose understanding of body mechanics and neuroscience lead him to develop his innovative method.

Naomi has taught in Asia and the US. She enjoys working with a variety of students and, especially, has experience working with people who are recovering from injuries or dealing with chronic pain. She enjoys helping all her clients discover and refine their innate sense of healthy movement.

Naomi is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, as well as a movement, posture, and wellness consultant.

At Restorative Motion, we believe that each of us can become more agile and pain-free versions of ourselves, even as we age. And we believe this to be true, because we know it from experience.
